was established by David Burkhart, PHR to provide professional Human
Resources Management services all types and size business and
organizations in Arizona.
Dave is a Certified Professional in
Human Resources (PHR) through the Society for Human Resource Management
(SHRM) since 1996. With a Masters in Human Resource Management from
Ottawa University, he has over 13 years experience as a Human Resources
Generalist in the Medical, Transportation, Services, Sales and
Education & Training Industries. And over 20 years supervisory
experience.
Dave is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 1994, Valley
of the Sun Human Resource Association (VSHRM) since 1995
and International Personnel Management Association, AZ Chapter (IPMA)
since 1995.
As a Human Resources Professional, he has
managed a broad range of complex personnel matters and
utilized initiative and exercised mature judgment in managing
administrative operations and handling confidential and sensitive
matters. Dave has a wealth of experience working as the sole Human
Resources representative in small to mid size organization, but is also
at ease when working as part of a HR team and/or in large
organizations. He is equally comfortable when responsible for planning
and creating infrastructure as he is in environments where policy and
procedure are already in place.
Experienced working with single
and multi site operations and location. Dave possesses the excellent
communication, analytical and problem solving skills that are
essential, and able to interact and communicate effectively with all
levels of management and staff. Working in dynamic and demanding
environments have required him to exercise tact, diplomacy, and
flexibility to promote positive working relationships and job
effectiveness.
He has a strong background in recruitment, data
management, unemployment claims, safety and policy development. And is
knowledgeable of Federal and State employment laws, including but not
limited to EEOC, AA, ADA, FSLA, FMLA & OSHA.
Dave is a
innovative, resourceful, energetic self-starter with a solid
educational foundation, business sense, with advanced computer skills
and professional experience within startup and established
organizations. He has the ability to interact effectively with all
levels of management and staff, successfully balancing company
objectives simultaneously with advocating for employees' needs.
He
